The Rotary Club/Kiwanis Season Kickoff Luncheon celebrated the opening weeks of play for Montgomery County high school baseball and softball programs.
CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – The Rotary Club/Kiwanis Season Kickoff Luncheon was held Wednesday at First Baptist Church. The event celebrated the opening weeks of play for Montgomery County high school baseball and softball programs. The majority of Clarksville-area coaches attended the luncheon as they each spoke on the 2022 season.
The host of the event, Brian Rives, detailed his excitement for the return of the season kickoff. “It is great to put a spotlight on these coaches that give so much to the young men and women that play on the diamond. This event is one way to honor these coaches. They dedicate their time to managing their perspective sports, while being away from their families.”

Everyone in attendance took a couple of moments to applaud Montgomery Central baseball coach Todd Dunn, who reached 500 career wins – a milestone most coaches dream to achieve.
