CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – The law licenses of two Montgomery County attorneys have been suspended days after they were found guilty of extortion.
WKRN News 2 reports that a formal hearing will be held to determine how long Fletcher Long and Carrie Gasaway’s license suspensions will last.
The pair were charged in March 2014 following a two-year investigation into allegations they tried to force a client to pay them $50,000 for services.
The case went to trial last week and the jury delivered their verdict Tuesday.
