CLARKSVILLE, TN – Montgomery Central High School wrestler Audrey Levendusky officially signed to compete for the women’s wrestling program at King University in Bristol, Tennessee starting this fall.
King is a program with a storied history, including the one-time home of Olympic gold medalist Sarah Hildebrandt, and is currently a Top 5 NCAA wrestling program. NCAA women’s wrestling was officially sanctioned a few years ago, and held their first official national championship last season.
Levendusky leaves behind a legacy at Montgomery Central, where she broke the school record with 173 career wins along with a school record for pins with 134 career pins. She was a four-time state finalist and a two-time state champion. Levendusky was also a three-time high school All-American, including placing 3rd at NHSCA Nationals last year. She was also ranked in the top 30 in the country by Sports Illustrated.
