CUNNINGHAM, TN – After dropping the first game to Rossview, the Montgomery Central Lady Indians won three in a row in dominant fashion to defeat Rossview 3-1 in volleyball action Monday night on their home floor in Cunningham.

The first game went to Rossview 25-15 in a lopsided win, a game that made it look like it would be a long night for the Lady Indians, but Central flipped the script and closed out the night with three straight convincing wins 25-14, 25-22, and 25-13.

Overall it was a team effort that earned the win. Senior captain Audrey Levendusky had an outstanding all-around night, leading the team in assists while contributing 3 aces, 6 kills, and 4 blocks. Sophomore middle hitter Camryn Travis also had a solid night, contributing 9 kills and 5 blocks. Junior Charlsie Reynolds added 7 kills and 3 blocks from the middle, while junior Jocelyn McMains was strong at the service line and libero Whitney Whacker played an important role with digs and serve-receive.

Montgomery Central is currently in the #2 position in AA District 11 standings.
