CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – (ESPN CLARKSVILLE) Montgomery Central gets a big 10-7 win at home against Kenwood in a defensive battle from start to finish.

Kenwood had three turnovers to Montgomery Central’s one.

The Indians scored first with a first quarter field goal.

In the second half, the Knight’s blocked a punt and Christion Hyman scooped it up and ran 13 yards for the touchdown.

Central came back with a 65-yard drive. Jaden Flake scored on a 9-yard run and that was all that the Indians needed.

Montgomery Central moves to 2-0 and plays Portland at home next Friday.

Kenwood is now 1-1 and plays Northeast next week.
