CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – “Welcome to Moe’s!” will now be heard in Clarksville with the opening of the new Moe’s Southwest Grill. Moe’s will open Thursday, November 13 at 11 a.m. at 108 Morris Road next to Governors Square Mall. It’s a greeting all guests receive as they walk through the front door.

The company says the Clarksville Moe’s marks the eighth location in Middle Tennessee and is a fast-casual restaurant featuring fresh, handmade, customizable southwestern food in a welcoming environment that rocks.

To celebrate their grand opening Thursday, Moe’s invites guests to “Pay What You Want” for their meal with 100 percent of the proceeds benefiting the Wounded Warriors Project of Nashville, an organization dedicated to honoring and empowering wounded warriors.

The walls of Moe’s are covered with photos of musicians…well, sort of. They are actually Moe’s customers from their restaurants who look like artists, including John Lennon, Kurt Cobain, and Buddy Holly. Scott Portis with Moe’s said the artists are part of their ‘dearly departed’ musical artists.

Portis added that the name Moe’s stands for musicians, outlaws, and entertainers and the playlist of music heard at the restaurant comes from musicians who have passed away.

As part of their grand opening, the first 50 guests through the door at Moe’s in Clarksville Thursday will win free burritos for one year.

Moe’s is open from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. seven days a week. For more information call 931-444-5171, or visit www.moes.com.
