CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – Mochas & Minis, a new café on Tiny Town Road, is offering a place for parents and kids alike to come and relax with a full-sized, indoor playground.

The café was opened last month by husband and wife duo Jeremy and Cheyanne Day. Before moving to Clarksville, the couple lived in Germany where indoor playgrounds are more prevalent. After moving here, their kids would ask them if they could go to the indoor playground, but there wasn’t one to go to.

“So we said ‘OK, we see a need for that in the area. We’re going to bring it here,” Cheyanne told Clarksville Now.

Mochas & Minis offers a variety of hot and cold drinks as well as sandwiches, pastries and charcuterie boxes. In the café is a wall set up for taking photos. They also recently started offering paint and sip nights.

Through a second set of doors is a large indoor play area, complete with jungle gym, slides, play kitchen, a ball pit and toys. Parents can watch their kids have a good time while enjoying coffee with other parents.

“I kind of wanted to put a young spin on thing. My husband and I are young parents. We wanted a place where young parents like us could come in, take some cute pictures with their kiddos, relax, have a good coffee. You know, other coffee joints don’t feel welcoming to people with kiddos. You just feel like a bother, like you can’t relax and enjoy it. Here, people can be themselves, meet other moms and other dads,” Cheyanne said.

Mochas & Minis is at 550 Heritage Pointe Drive and is every day, 9 a.m-5 p.m. (6 p.m. on weekends).
