CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – Local Pro Mixed Martial Arts standout and UFC prospect Nate Landwehr will be making a rare appearance this Saturday at the BMF MMA show which will be held at the Wilma Rudolph Event Center.  This is the first time Nate Landwehr has fought in Clarksville TN since 2010.  Nate trains MMA out of SSF Submission Academy on College St. and at the Stable for his strength and conditioning.

When asked how Nate’s future in MMA looks, Nate’s long time MMA coach Mike Merriman said “Nate is on target to be in the UFC soon, he is the best 145lbs fighter in TN and has beaten a guy that was just signed to RFA which is a feeder show to the UFC”,  Nate’s Cardio and Strength coach Angel Nadal added “he is something special, he is gonna go all the way”.

Nate is known as an exciting and polarizing fighter.  People love him or they love to hate him but they come to see him and his videos are a hit and that is what matters according to SSF owner Ron Dayley.  Mr. Dayley has been in talks with the UFC about Nate for a while now and things are moving along and UFC has their eyes on him and this makes Nate a marketable fighter.  Nate is sponsored by Damage Control mouth guards, ProMMAnow, Anythime Fitness on Tiny Town Rd, All American Cleaning, Nick’s Concrete and Matin’s Quality Painting,

Nate is a Clarksville native who graduated from Rossview High and has a loyal fan base here in town.
