CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – Clarksville Police have by Winchester Police Dept in Virginia to put out information on a missing person from Virginia,

James Edward Jeffries, Jr., 59,  who has shown signs of dementia and depression may have come to Clarksville to see family members.  

Jeffries was last seen by his spouse in Virginia on Saturday, November 2.  He stopped by her place of employment in the early morning hours on Nov 2 and said he had been fired.  She found out later, that was untrue.  His place of employment contacted her and was concerned for his welfare since he had not shown up for work.
 
Jeffries’s vehicle, medication, and some clothing were missing from the residence.  Also, he has not answered his cell phone.
 
In the past, Jeffries has left his residence unannounced & traveled to Tennessee to be with his children.  Since his disappearance, recent banking transactions on Jefferies account were conducted in the Big Rock, Clarksville, and the Nashville area.
 
He was entered as a missing person in the nationwide computer database.

CPD has already checked local addresses where family members previously lived.
