CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – Clarksville Police released new information Wednesday night about the search for missing 20-year-old Justin Sawyer.
CPD detectives have been working in conjunction with Kentucky State Police in trying to locate Sawyer, and they now suspect foul play.
The collaborative investigation has revealed that Sawyer’s last known location was at the Shell Station on Exit 89 off of Interstate 24 in Oak Grove, Kentucky, according to CPD Detective Michael Patterson.
CPD is also asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a male seen in surveillance footage in the area of Sawyer’s last known location. The unknown man is Black, and wearing what appears to be all black clothing and black shoes, CPD said.

CPD is also sharing a new photo of Sawyer in the clothing he was last seen wearing. He appears to be wearing a jean jacket, black shirt and jeans, along with red sneakers.

Sawyer is 5-foot-11 and approximately 200 pounds.
He drives a 2016 white, 4-door Honda Civic, and has a Tennessee license plate with the numbers CPM467. CPD says the car now has blacked-out rims and has a black scuff mark on the right side of the rear bumper.
Police also shared a new photo of the car, which shows the identifiable scuff marks on the bumper.
