CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – The 2026 Miss USA Final Competition and Coronation is tonight, on Aug. 27, and Clarksville’s own Sydney Grace Young is set to take the stage as Miss Tennessee USA.
The final competition begins at 7 p.m., after several days of events, including on Monday and Tuesday when the Miss USA Costume Show and Miss USA Preliminary Competitions were held.
Young told Clarksville Now that she feels incredibly grateful and at peace. “I have worked and prayed for this moment for so long, and now I am laying it all at his feet. God is in control, and I trust completely in whatever he has planned for me tonight,” she said.

“I also would not be standing here without the people who have carried me through this journey. My mom and dad, my fiancé Luke, and my incredible friends and family have loved me, encouraged me, prayed for me, and sacrificed alongside me every step of the way. This moment belongs to them too.”
Young said representing Tennessee, as well as her hometown of Clarksville, on the Miss USA stage in an honor she will never be able to put into words. “Tonight, I’m going to walk out there with a grateful heart, give it everything I have, and trust God with the rest.”
