CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – (CLARKSVILLENOW) Miss Lucille’s Marketplace has announced it will hold a grand opening for its new Furniture Design Room this Friday and Saturday, Feb. 17-18.
The Furniture Design Room promises a variety of styles including modern, traditional, farmhouse, Bohemian, and industrial as well as rugs, pillows and throws from Magnolia Home by Joanna Gaines crafted by Loloi.
The room complements Miss Lucille’s Marketplace, nicely adding new, handpicked furniture and accessories to what is already one of the most unique shopping experiences in Clarksville.
Miss Lucille’s provides vintage finds, antiques, and gift items from hundreds of vendors and the addition of the Furniture Design Room provides one-stop shopping for those seeking more unique decorating options.
“We want people to see the whole room so they can envision these pieces in their home as is,” said Jenny Cristurean, who manages the design room, which includes eight staged areas that are fully furnished.
“The furniture section complements the whole store because you can get an the eclectic look from just about any booth to pull everything together,” said Dana Knott, who owns the business with her husband, Trent. “The aim here is to make it convenient for shoppers whether they’re looking to refinish a whole room or find one accent piece for the home.”

The grand opening will include a $100 gift card raffle and the first look at the newly expanded area that is sure to inspire those who take a more personalized approach to home design and furnishing.
