Minnie Ann Mayes, 76, of Clarksville, TN passed away Saturday, December 31, 2022, at Tennova Health Care of natural causes.
Mrs. Mayes was born March 11, 1946, in Harlan, KY, the daughter of the late William Orville and Lula Sexton Neice. She was preceded in death by her first husband, James (Jim) Holden; her second husband, Jake Mayes; son, Mark Holden; daughters in law, Melissa Woodhouse and Shelia Mayes; grandson, Eric Mayes; brothers, Hank Neice, Ricky Neice and Frank Neice; sisters, Louise Lucas, Doris Gambrel, Shirley Wells and Helen Green.
Minnie is survived her sons, James (Debbie Jo) Holden and Steve (Julie) Mayes; daughter, Kandi Holden; grandchildren, Robert (Michelle) Holden, Jason (Brittney) Thorne, Ricky Goodrich, Britiani (Ernest) Thorne, Tyler Mayes, Taylor Mayes, Madeline Mayes, Madison Mayes, Cheyenne (Trent) Johnson, Nathan Smith; great-grandchildren, Hunter Thorne, Camron Bridges, Jonathan and Abby Thorne.
Mrs. Minnie was a retired Auditor for US Steel and a member of Fountain of Life Church. She is loved by many and missed by all.
A Celebration of Life will be held Friday, January 6, 2023, at 9:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Neal Tarpley Parchman Funeral Home. Visitation will be Thursday, January 5, 2023, from 5:00 p.m. -7:00 p.m.
