Mildred Cora Koskela, age 93, of Clarksville, TN, passed away with her family on Saturday, August 26, 2023, at Tennova Healthcare in Clarksville, TN.
Ms. Cora was born March 13, 1930, in Erie, PA the daughter of the late John E. and Florence Filegar Towell. She was a homemaker, loving mother, and a member of the Catholic Faith. She was very involved in Loaves and Fishes, Clarksville Kennel Club and enjoyed the Tennessee Senior Games. Cora was a very talented bass player in bluegrass bands.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Leonard Towell and John Towell; three sisters, Berdina Woodring, Shirley D’Amico and Mary Gindy. Survivors include three daughters, Veronica Bachkor, Sue Anne Kraft and Kim Terpining.
A Graveside Celebration of Life will be held 2:00 p.m., Thursday, August 31, 2023, at Resthaven Memorial Gardens with entombment to follow.
