CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – Mickey’s Downtown, a new bar and grill, will open its doors to customers this Friday at 125 Franklin St., the former home of Kimo’s Hawaiian Grill.
Owner Michaela Williams has worked in restaurants and bars around Clarksville for over 12 years, and hopes her bar will become part of Franklin Street’s identity.
“It’s something that I have always wanted to do,” said Williams. “This has been a dream of mine forever, We just really want to be a part of downtown.”

Mickey’s menu features classic bar fare with a twist, including hot dogs, burgers, grilled cheeses, wings and nachos. They will also have vegan options like the “Clean Livin’ Dog.”
They will have a selection of 60-70 bottled beers available, with both international and local craft selections. Williams said one of her favorites is a Korean rice beer. The bar will carry products from local brewers and distillers like King’s Bluff Brewing and Leatherwood Distillery.
“We are working with a lot of great companies that worked really hard to get where they’re at,” said Williams. “We are trying to get a little bit of everybody in here.

Mickey’s will be open for lunch Monday-Sunday 11 a.m.-3 a.m., though they will be ages 21-plus after 10 p.m.
They will hold a soft opening on Friday, though the beer menu will not be available at that time. Once Mickey’s receives its beer license, they are planning to hold a larger grand opening event.
