Micheal Douglas Colley, age 64, passed away Saturday, January 14, 2017, at the VA Medical Center, in Nashville.
Micheal was born June 18, 1952, in Medford, OR, to the late John Daniel Colley and Margie Ellen Hunsley Colley. He was also preceded in death by his father-in-law, K.L. Glass.
Mr. Colley was a retired electrician and a US Army Veteran, having served during the Vietnam era. He was an active member of Grace Church of the Nazarene and loved playing Santa Claus at Christmastime each year.
Celebration of Life Service will be held Friday, January 20, at 2:00 PM, at the Chapel of Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Funeral Home, with Dr. Steve Estep officiating. Visitation will be Thursday, January 19, from 4:00 to 7:00 PM, and Friday, January 20, from 12:00 PM until the time of service, at the funeral home.
Micheal is survived by his loving wife, Brenda Glass Colley; son, Sean Daniel Colley; daughter, Candice (Jason) Leaverton; granddaughter, Alyssa Marie Leaverton; mother-in-law, Louise Glass; and two sisters, Jacqie Colley and Linda Colley Reed.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Grace Church of the Nazarene Camp Scholarship Fund, 3135 Trenton Road, Clarksville, TN 37040.
