Michael Scott Reed, age 48, of Springdale, Arkansas, died December 17, 2014, in Springdale.
He was born July 12, 1966, in Clarksville, Tennessee, the son of Wendell and Patricia Self Reed. He was former owner and operator of Reeds Mechanical Company. He enjoyed fishing and hunting.
Michael is survived by his parents of Cumberland Furnace, Tennessee; one son, Joseph Reed, of Rogers, Arkansas; one daughter: Mary Reed, of Natchitoches, Louisiana; one brother, Mark Reed and his wife, Lyne, of Cumberland Furnace, Tennessee; and his maternal grandmother, Mary Self, of Erin, Tennessee
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. on Tuesday, December 23, 2014 at Nave Funeral Home in Erin, TN. Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Nave Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Phillip Chambers and Bro. Gene Belt officiating. Burial will be at Pleasant View Cemetery.
