CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – Two men have been arrested after allegedly fighting in the middle of the road during rush hour traffic.

According to arrest warrants, police discovered 36-year-old Joshua Fields and 39-year-old Mark Tereau in the midst of a physical altercation while parked on Fort Campbell Blvd. Thursday, June 16.

Police determined that Fields exited his vehicle and approached another driver near the Quinn Lane intersection. He is accused of reaching inside the vehicle and assaulting Tereau.

Tereau then got out of his vehicle and the two began fighting. Fields eventually retreated to his vehicle, but Tereau chased him, got into his vehicle, and reportedly assaulted him again.

Fields, Tereau, and two juveniles (one in each vehicle) were brought to the police station for questioning.

Fields was arrested and charged with assault, disorderly conduct, and burglary. His bond was set at $27,000.

It is unclear why the men were fighting.
