NASHVILLE, Tenn. – (CLARKSVILLENOW) A memorial service will be held Monday for a Nashville musician who was shot to death last week outside his home.
Five juveniles are charged in the fatal shooting of 24-year-old Kyle Yorlets, who was a Belmont graduate and member of the band Carverton.
Three girls ages 12, 14 and 15, and two boys, ages 13 and 16, are charged with criminal homicide in his death.
Two of five juveniles charged in the killing made their first court appearance on Friday.
The accused, reportedly used a pickup truck that was stolen from Oak Grove in commission of the crime.
Metro Police say the five approached him, took his wallet and demanded keys to his vehicle, which he refused. Investigators believe that’s why Yorlets was shot.
Carverton posted a remembrance on Twitter.
Sending endless love to Kyle's friends, family, and loved ones.
