CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – Deputy Jason Pike has resigned his position with the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO).

Public Information Officer Sandra Brandon confirmed the resignation Tuesday.

MCSO started an internal investigation of Pike Feb. 26 following his arrest by the Clarksville Police Department for stalking.

Pike, 39, has been an employee of the Sheriff’s Office since 2008.

His resignation does not change the status of the internal investigation, which will become part of his employee file, according to Brandon.
