MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) is currently accepting applications for the Reserve Deputy Program.

Reserve deputies are commissioned officers with the same duties as full time deputies.

They must complete 106 hours of training provided by the MCSO. Training classes are held on nights and weekends.

After graduation, reserve deputies are required to work one patrol shift a month and attend one training class a month.

They can also volunteer their time for special events, prisoner and mental health patient transports, court duties, and serving warrants.
