Masue Mary Mitchum, age 90 of Erin, TN, passed away Tuesday, May 25, 2021, at Signature Healthcare of Erin.
A celebration of her life will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, May 28, 2021, at the chapel of Nave Funeral Home with Bro. Jim Suddeath officiating. Burial will follow in Lewis Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until the hour of service Friday afternoon at the funeral home.
Masue entered this life on July 13, 1930, in Kyoto, Japan. After arriving in the states, Masue was a homemaker and exceptional cook. Masue would go on to work for the language department of the United States where she spoke five languages fluently. Masue was a faithful member of McEwen Church of Christ and will be greatly missed by anyone who ever knew her.
Masue leaves behind her loving husband, Bobby Mitchum.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
