Mary Nell (Maurer) Rose age 80, of Clarksville, peacefully entered Heaven’s gates on January 6, 2019, with her adoring family by her side.
She was born to the late Arthur and Nellie (Sine) Maurer on April 27, 1938 in Florence, KY. Mary will be lovingly remembered by her devoted daughter, Debra David, son in law, Andy and her precious granddaughter, Cassidy Rose, as well as her beloved sister in law, niece, nephew, cousins and dear friends.
She is predeceased by her husband, John (Jack) Rose and her brother James Wondrely. Mary lived her life with grace, gratitude and a strong Christian faith. She was an avid Tennessee Titans fan and enjoyed spending her retirement years reading a good book and feeding the stray cats that always found her friendly porch.
Per Mary’s wishes, there will be no funeral service.
Her ashes will be scattered in the Mississippi Sound waters near Biloxi at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to the Red Cross or any animal rescue.
