Mary “Mercy” Mercedes Sanchez, age 77 of Clarksville, passed away Thursday, September 16, 2021, at her residence.
Mercy was born on September 23, 1943, in El Centro, CA to the late Gulam Mohammed and Maria Palestino. She is survived by her loving husband, Manuel Sanchez; daughters: Maura Chester, Maritza Ogwaro; grandchildren: Frankie Ogwaro, Zaeleena Ogwaro, Jacqueline Pelletier, Kaylynn Pelletier, Jeremy Pelletier, Conner Pelletier, and Lindsey Chester.
Mercy was a loving Mother, Grandmother, and Wife. She had a cheerful personality that everyone adored, and she loved arts and crafts, coloring, sewing, and crocheting.
Pallbearers will be Dennis Chester, Henry Astrada, Frank Ogwaro, Conner Pelletier, Jeremy Pellitier, Bryn Pelletier, Zale Ogwaro, Ariel Vieweg, and Frankie Ogwaro Jr.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, October 9, 2021, at 11 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with Father Javier Suarez officiating. Visitation will be held on Friday, October 8, 2021, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Interment will be on private family property.
