Mary Jo Jones, 53, went to be with her Savior Jesus Christ on Saturday, July 11, 2015.
She was born with cystic fibrosis and was blessed to receive a double lung transplant on July 18, 1993. She treasured every minute of her extra time to live and breathe.
Mary Jo was active in her home church, Hilldale Baptist Church. She was a faithful and loving wife, devoted daughter, and caring friend. She volunteered at Loaves and Fishes, enjoyed traveling, meeting new people, and spending time with friends.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Dorothy Blair; father, Malcolm Blair; and sister, Victoria Blair.
She is survived by her husband of 34 years, Terry Jones of Clarksville, TN; sister and brother-in-law, Robert and Janet Krause of Ringgold, GA; and nephew, Randy Lemons of Gallatin, TN.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at 3 p.m. on Saturday, July 18, 2015 at in the chapel of First Baptist Concord Church in Farragut, TN with Dr. Larry Robertson and Brother Terry Brown officiating. Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until the time of Mary Jo’s Celebration of Life service.
