Mary Evelyn French 87 passed away Monday July 28, 2014 at Houston County Community Hospital.
She was born May 18, 1927 in Houston County, TN, the daughter of the late Robert N. Holmes and Carrie Bell Holmes. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Thurman French and daughter Malinda French.
A celebration of her life will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Nave Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Richard Neal officiating. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. Tuesday and from 8 a.m. until service time Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be at McIntosh Cemetery.
Survivors include two sons Andy French and Tommy French, one daughter Darla Mahoney, eight grandchildren and eight grandchildren. Pallbearers will be her grandsons Lee French, Nate French, Jay Hampton, Dave Howell, Jeremy Mahoney and Grant Jenkins.
