A Celebration of Life service for Mary “Frances” Harrison, 92, of Cunningham, TN, will be Sunday, September 26, 2021 at 2 p.m. at Sykes Funeral Home. Bro. David Mackens will officiate. She will be laid to rest alongside her late husband, Carl Harrison at Gum Springs Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday, September 25, 2021 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Sykes Funeral Home and again on Sunday from 12 p.m until the hour of service at the funeral home.
Frances passed away on September 22, 2021. She was born on September 25, 1928 in Cunningham, TN, to Lonnie “Bob” and Mabel Dawson Baggett. Frances was retired from the Montgomery County School system. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She also loved sewing, cooking, and gardening.
In addition to her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by her children, Steve Harrison and Debbie Harrison. Frances is survived by her children: Lynn (Pam) Harrison, Teresa (Troy) Suiter, and Pam Mayfield Sinks (Brenn); daughter-in-law, Janet Harrison; sister, Lucille Richardson; grandchildren: Michael Mayfield, Chad Harrison, Mandy Harp, Wesley Bradford, Kaci Harrison, Colton Bradford, John Thomas Crossland, and Eric Slate; and great-grandchildren: Morgan, Steven, Savannah, Mason, Jakoby, Easton, Ella, Keeley, Weston, Anslie, Dalynn, Kyilynn, and Delilah.
