Martha Jane Richmond, age 93, of Clarksville, passed away Friday, February 6, 2015 at NHC Healthcare of Springfield.
Martha was born July 9, 1921 in Boonville, IN, to the late Dennis Boardman and Madden Hocker Boardman. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Leroy Richmond; three brothers, Warren Boardman, Ferrell Boardman, and Duane Boardman; and one sister, Phyllis Worley.
Mrs. Richmond was a homemaker and a US Army Veteran.
Commital service will take place Tuesday, February 17, at 11:00 AM, at Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
Martha is survived by her son, Rick (Janet) Richmond of Clarksville; daughter, Shannon (Winn) Robertson of Springfield, TN; and one sister, Wilmot (Louis) Capogna of Elizabethtown, KY; three grandchildren, Bradley (Anna) Richmond, Lindsay Elam, and Courtney (Drew) Nadler; and three great-grandchildren, Lillianne Elam, Richlynn Elam, and Carter Richmond.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 4825 Trousdale Drive, Nashville, TN 37220; or to the Cumberland Presbyterian Church Building Fund, 1410 Golf Club Lane, Clarksville, TN 37040.
