Martha Nelson Moore “MaMo”, surrounded by family, gently slipped into the arms of Jesus, her Lord and Savior, on May 30, 2021.

She died peacefully on the farm where she worked side by side with her deceased husband, Doyle Emerson Moore, Sr., for over 72 years. She was preceded in death by her parents, W. O. Nelson and Nancy Moore Nelson, as well as two stillborn brothers and one granddaughter.

Survivors include her five children; Connie Yarbrough (Mack, deceased), Sue Weaver (Bob), Doyle Moore, Jr. (Nancy), Debra Moore and Michael Moore; one sister, Betty Sue Allen; four granddaughters and 13 great-grandchildren.

Moore was a member of Hilldale Baptist Church, where she and her husband used their farm to minister to countless “adopted” children. She was the best example of a loving and devoted wife who fished and farmed with her husband. She was a stellar mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She loved the Lord with all of her heart and shared that love freely with everyone she met.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, June 3, 2021 at McReynolds-Nave & Larson with Rev. Larry Robertson and Rev. Terry Brown officiating.
