NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — The Tennessee Titans limited Marcus Mariota at practice and gave more work to backup Blaine Gabbert, and coach Mike Vrabel says they want to evaluate which quarterback will give them the best chance against the Houston Texans.
Vrabel says Mariota remains the starter, but that could change. Mariota practiced fully after being knocked out of the opener with an injured elbow. Vrabel said Mariota should play barring any setbacks, then the Titans pared back his snaps to give Gabbert a bit more work.
