Mrs. Marie Threatt Kirksey, age 95, of Dover, TN, passed away Monday, July 27, 2020, at her residence. She was born January 9, 1925, in Stewart County, TN the daughter of Edmond and Nannie Reynolds Milliken. Mrs. Marie was a member of Wyatt’s Chapel United Methodist Church. She also had a love for quilting and gardening.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husbands, Ennis Threatt and Leo Kirksey, sisters, Fannie Mae Gafford and Magdelene Paul, brother, William Milliken, and grandson, Marty Wyatt. Mrs. Marie is survived by her daughters, Jo Ann Wyatt (Dean), Dover, TN, Christine Lewis (Linnis), Indian Mound, TN, Susie Brown (Ted), Clarksville, TN, grandchildren, Scott Wyatt, Dee Ann Colburn, Chris Lewis, Lynn Williams, Michael Brown, Laura Brown, great-grandchildren, Clay, Lacy, Addie, Claire, and Kadence.
A graveside service will be held at 3:00 pm Friday, July 31, 2020, at Smith Cemetery in Big Rock, TN, Bro. Terry Brown will be officiating.
Pallbearers will be Michael Brown, Chris Lewis, Chris Pace, Chris Colburn, Scott Wyatt, and Teddy Brown.
