Marie Louise Lake, age 66, died Friday, October 25 at Gateway Medical Center, in Clarksville. She was born March 2, 1947, in Haverhill, MA, to the late Raoul Durocher and Helen Phaneuf Durocher. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Paul Durocher.
Mrs. Lake was a member of and bookkeeper for St. Michael Catholic Church, in Oak Grove, as well as an avid bowler.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, October 30 at St. Michael Catholic Church, with Father David Kennedy officiating. Burial will be at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery – West, in Hopkinsville, KY. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, from 4-6 p.m., at Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Funeral Home, with a Rosary following at 6:00 PM, and also on Wednesday, from 10 a.m. until the hour of service, at the church.
Friends will serve as pallbearers.
Survivors include her husband of 35 years, George E. Lake, of Clarksville; two sons, Tim (Robin) Lake, of Murfreesboro, TN, and Joe (Sarah) Lake, of Knoxville, TN; and two grandchildren, Allison Lake and Wyatt Lake.
