Marie Lucretia Burnett, age 89, of Clarksville, passed away Tuesday, March 17, 2015 at Gateway Medical Center.
Marie was born in Knoxville, TN, to the late Porter Cecil Burnett and Lula Karr Burnett. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Cecil Harry Burnett.
Ms. Burnett was a non-resident member of Church Street United Methodist Church, in Knoxville. She retired after 40 years of service with Delta Airlines. Marie enjoyed knitting, painting, and water skiing.
Graveside service will be held Saturday, March 21, at 1 p.m. Eastern Time in Berry Lynnhurst Cemetery, in Knoxville with Rev. Andy Ferguson officiating.
Marie is survived by her sister, Florence Bailey of Clarksville.
