Marianne Mayer, age 84, of Clarksville, passed away peacefully at home with her family and loved ones by her side on Saturday, September 18, 2021.
She was born May 23, 1937, in Augsburg, Germany, and was a long-time resident of Clarksville. She is survived by her husband of 58 years, John; daughters Olivia (Gene Rose) Mayer and Bernadette (Todd) Noble; nephew Alex Schweinberger and family; grandchildren Kristin (Michael) Cuddy, Payton Rose, and Savannah (Rashawn) Wong; and great-granddaughter, Nyla Wong.
She cherished her many friends and family and enjoyed traveling, playing cards, cooking, and knitting. She was the ultimate hostess, providing hospitality to all. She was honest, generous, and warm-hearted with a zest for life. A bright light, she will be missed by many.
A Memorial Mass will take place at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church at a later date.
