Marguerite Self, age 90 of Erin, TN, passed away Wednesday, March 4, 2020, at Signature Healthcare of Erin.
A celebration of her life will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 7, 2020, at the chapel of Nave Funeral Home with Pastors Charles Thornburg and Ray Bradley officiating. Burial will follow in Pleasant View Cemetery.
The Self family will receive friends on Friday from 3:30 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., and again from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service Saturday afternoon.
Marguerite entered this life on October 28, 1929, in River Rouge, MI, daughter to the late William and Emma Sylvester. Marguerite was a member of the Midway Church of God of Prophecy.
In addition to her parents, Marguerite was preceded in death by her husband, Grover Self, daughters, Karen Self, Shelia Self; and son in law, Eddie Johnson.
Survivors include her loving children, Larry (Dianne) Self, Terry (Dottie J.) Self, Kenneth (Dottie E.) Self, Claudette Johnson, Darlene (Randy) Tanner. Marguerite also leaves behind sixteen grandchildren, forty-five great-grandchildren, and ten great-great-grandchildren.
Serving as pallbearers will be Brian Self, Chase Self, Darren Self, Dustin Johnson, Allen Johnson, and Norman Johnson.
