Margrette Pleas, age 76 of Clarksville, passed away Monday, September 23, 2013 at Gateway Medical Center.
Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Friday, September 27, 2013 at Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Spring Creek. Burial will be at Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church Spring Creek Church Cemetery. Visitation will be from noon until 8 p.m. Thursday, September 26, 2013 with the family present from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Foston Funeral Home.
She was born July 7, 1937 in Montgomery County, Tennessee to the late Gus Henry Hillman, Sr. and Mamie Tyler Hillman Smith. She attended the Historical Burt High School and was a member of Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church Spring Creek.
She leaves to cherish her memory, sons, Charles R. Hillman and Micheal R. (Angie) Allen, both of Clarksville, TN; daughter, LaShandra A. Bryant, Birmingham, of AL; grandchildren, Shannaiko G. Bryant and Andrea Allen; sister, Versecco H. Corbin, of Clarksville, TN; brothers, Rodger (Geraldine) Hillman and Jerome (Anita) Hillman, both of Indianapolis, IN and Eugene Hillman,of Kokomo, IN; and a host of family and friends.
