CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – The National Weather Service predicts a marginal risk of severe weather in the Middle Tennessee area Wednesday.

The First Alert Weather Team will be on call to provide wall-to-wall coverage throughout storm season to provide wall-to-wall on-air coverage in the event of a tornado.

Strong winds with gusts up to 45 mph are possible ahead of a strong cold front that will push through late Wednesday afternoon and evening.

Scattered to numerous showers and thunderstorms are also likely and may become severe with isolated damaging winds.

Patchy frost will be a concern later in the week.
