Margie Lee Gonzales, age 84, of Clarksville, TN, passed away Monday, April 17, 2023, at Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville, TN.
Margie was born on December 16, 1938, in Campbellsville, KY to William Newton and Ethel Radcliff Newton. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Joseph F. Gonzales.
Margie is survived by her son, Joseph (Cathy) Gonzales, Jr.; daughters, Debbie (Mark Turbedsky) Frank and Cindy (Cecil) Foster; grandchildren Emily Foster and Jeff Houze; significant other, Wayne Riley.
Margie was known for her love, care and compassion throughout the community. Her service to the families of Ft. Campbell and Clarksville through, Miss Margie’s Daycare will be missed by all. Margie was a home away from home throughout deployments and extended schools for many military children.
A Celebration of Life will be held in Margie’s honor on Thursday, April 20, 2023, at 7:00 p.m. with Mr. Kevin Riley Officiating. Visitation will be Thursday, April 20, 2023, from 4:00 p.m. until the hour of service. Burial will take place on Friday, April 21, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. at Campbellsville Memorial Gardens, 700 Old US 68, Campbellsville, KY 42718.
