Margaret Ann Rives, age 74, of Clarksville, passed away Wednesday, January 20, 2016, at Gateway Medical Center.
Margaret was born March 12, 1941, in Kentucky, to the late Horace Emmett an Etha Lee Sanders Emmett. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Shelia Ruth Coleman; and step-great grandson, Shannon Crawford.
Mrs. Rives was a dedicated homemaker and a member of Sunnyview Baptist Church.
Funeral service will be held Sunday, January 24, at 2:00 PM, at the Chapel of Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Funeral Home, with Rev. Bobby Kail officiating. Burial will follow in Sunnyview Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday, January 24, from 12:00 Noon until the hour of service, at the funeral home.
Margaret is survived by her husband of 56 years, Lewis G. Rives; three daughters, Margaret Annette (David) Hodges, Karen Sue (James) Walton, and Donna Jean (Joe) Kindle; stepdaughter, Betty Jean McKinney; brother, Billy Gene Emmett; three sisters, Kay Shelton, Cathy Elaine Emmett, and Debbie (Wendell) Gannaway; seven grandchildren, Kristy Chappell, Joey Kindle, Steven Hodges, Christopher Kindle, Trisha Hodges, Brittany Kindle, and Timmy Hodges; step-grandson, Bobby Lee Crawford; and six great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Joey Kindle, Christopher Kindle, Timmy Hodges, Vince Chappell, Ricky Rittenberry, Bill Kelly, and Steven Hodges.
