Margaret Ann Johnson, of Clarksville, TN, passed away on June 3, 2024, at the age of 76.
Margaret Johnson, daughter of Willie and Lucy Wiggins, was born in Davidson County, Nashville, Tennessee, on December 31, 1947.
The influence of her Christian home helped to structure her life as she worked diligently in the church. She professed her hope in Christ at an early age. She became a member of the Mt. Gilead Missionary Baptist Church in Nashville, TN. There she served on the usher board. She became a member of Lester Chapel Missionary Baptist Church in Clarksville, TN in 1968.
Margaret Johnson went to be with her Heavenly Father, on June 3, 2024. She passed away in her home at 9 am with family and friends present.
She was given in marriage to John L. Johnson, Sr. on June 21, 1966. There are (3) three children from this Marriage. Her middle son, Christopher Bryant Johnson, preceded her in death in August 2019. Surviving family members include her husband John L. Johnson, Sr., son John L. Johnson, Jr., and daughter Michelle L. Johnson. She is also survived by three grandchildren; Dallin D. Johnson/Rosalind, Mikaylah Rayton, and Bella Hobson.
She is also survived by her only sister, Betty Webster, two nieces, other relatives, and a host of friends.
Memorial services will be held at Gateway Funeral Home on Thursday, June 6, 2024, at 11:00 A.M., with no visitation prior.
Final arrangements are entrusted to Gateway Funeral Home and Cremation Center.
