Marcia passed away on Sunday, March 31, 2019 at her residence.
A memorial service for Marcia Thompson, age 76 of Clarksville, will be Thursday, April 4 at 3 p.m. following the family visitation from 2-3 p.m. at Sykes Funeral Home.
She was born on June 8, 1942 in Detroit, Michigan to Donald and Myrtle (Headley) Gegenheimer who precede her in death.
Marcia is survived by her husband of 60 years, Harold “Skip” Thompson of Clarksville; 3 sons, Don (Kim) Thompson, Mark (Tammy) Thompson, and John (Angela) Thompson; a daughter, Shelby Thompson; a sister, Mariam Stace; 9 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
Marcia was a nurse devoted to caring for the elderly. After retirement she enjoyed gardening, taking care of her family and her dogs.
