Marc Harris, age 49, of Clarksville, passed away Friday, August 7, 2015, at his residence.
Marc was born January 12, 1966, in Clarksville, TN, to Donna Chester and the late James M. Harris.
Mr. Harris attended Austin Peay State University, where he was a member of the Sigma Chi fraternity. He was also a member of Hilldale Baptist Church.
Funeral service will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Monday, August 10 at the Chapel of Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Funeral Home, with Dr. Larry Robertson and Rev. Verlon Moore officiating. Burial will follow in Resthaven Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 2 p.m. until 5 p.m. on Sunday, August 9 and from 12:30 p.m. until the time of service on Monday, August 10 at the funeral home.
Marc is survived by his mother, Donna (Danny) Chester of Clarksville; two sons, Carter Harris and Cole Harris, both of Clarksville; sister, Traci (Charlie) Koon of Clarksville; step-sister, Stephanie (Chris) Conatser; niece, Lexi Koon; and two step-nephews, Cody Stephens and Brady Conatser.
Pallbearers will be Steve Freeman, Rob Silvers, Jim Manning, Todd King, Michael Baggett, Victor Felts, and Stephen Tucker. Honorary pallbearers will be the brothers of Sigma Chi and the Johnny Bishop Life Group of Hilldale Baptist Church.
