Manuel Thacker, age 84, of Selmer, TN, passed away Thursday, January 1, 2015 at Fieldstone Place.
Manuel was born September 16, 1930, in Stantonville, TN, to the late Mancel Thacker and Vivian Dickey Thacker. He was also preceded in death by his son, David Wayne Thacker.
Manuel was a member of the Knights of Columbus and was an ordained deacon at Holy Name Church in Nashville, TN. He was a decorated U.S. Air Force veteran.

Mr. Thacker is survived by two daughters, Debbie (David) Hughes of Cedar Hill, TN and Donna (Vernon) Garrison of LaVergne, TN; nine grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
