CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – Clarksville’s Best Charity Organization for 2022 is Manna Cafe Ministries, which has won Gold in the final fundraising challenge.

The Humane Society of Clarksville-Montgomery County is the Silver winner.

Manna Cafe Ministries provides food, shelter and support services for the hungry in Clarksville.

The Humane Society operates a low-cost spay-neuter clinic, offers a pet food bank and provides emergency veterinary funds.

After coming in as the two finalists in Clarksville’s Best competition online voting, Manna and the Humane Society took part in an online challenge to see who could raise the most money for their charity group.

As the Gold winner, Manna Cafe Ministries will receive $24,000 in free advertising from 5 Star Media Group. The Humane Society will get $12,000 in free advertising as the silver winner. And of course, they both keep the money they raised in the fundraising challenge.

This is the third year for the contest. The 2020 winners were Angel Fund and Youth Villages. The 2021 winners were Buddy Ball and YAIPak Outreach.
