CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – Manifest Magic Black Girl Cooperative hosted their 2nd Annual Juneteenth Festival Saturday at the Wilma Rudolph Event Center in Clarksville with more than 5,000 people expected to attend the celebration.

With the theme “Flowers to the People”, the event featured close to 100 vendors and activities for education, entertainment, shopping, and for families to have fun.

“The Juneteenth Festival is amazing, just like last year. I think Juneteenth is important for the people of Clarksville because we want to create spaces where we can engage with other cultures. Clarksville is one of the most diverse cities in the country, but how much do people interact. What’s important about the diversity is this gives us the opportunity to engage with each other,” Juanita Charles, Founder of Manifest Magic Black Girl Cooperative said.
