CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – A man and a woman were arrested this week in the death of a Clarksville man whose body was found on Glendale Drive in May 2019.

On May 5, 2019, around 10 a.m., a passerby found 57-year-old Matthew Clark dead on the side of the road near a bus stop on Glendale.

Initially, it appeared his death was the result of being hit by a vehicle, or an overdose. But as the investigation progressed, it was determined the death was a homicide.

In August, the Clarksville Police Special Operations Homicide Unit and the original officer assigned to the case, Detective Jason Kurtich, presented their case to the Montgomery County Grand Jury, which returned indictments for two people who are now in custody.
