CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – A man who was wanted for vehicular homicide in a 2021 motorcycle crash has been found dead in Memphis.
The Clarksville Police Department said Monday that they have been notified that Stanley Cliff was located deceased on Oct. 14. Police have not released his cause of death.

Cliff, 64, had multiple outstanding warrants, including vehicular homicide, stemming from a fatal crash on the evening of April 18, 2021, on Providence Boulevard, according to CPD spokesman Scott Beaubien.
The victim, 55-year-old Dwight Carter of Clarksville, was driving a motorcycle when Cliff pulled out in front of him, causing the collision, CPD said.
Video captured by a nearby business shows Cliff’s Ford F-150 truck was turning left onto Providence and pulled out into the lane the motorcycle was in, according to previous reports. The truck spun onto the right shoulder after the collision, paused, then crossed several lanes of Providence to flee in the opposite direction.

Carter died three days later.
In May 2021, FACT Investigator Burton presented evidence to the Montgomery County Grand Jury, resulting in charges against him.
