CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – Clarksville police are currently searching for a man with multiple outstanding warrants who is accused of pointing a gun at his former girlfriend and stealing her car.
21-year-old James Williams has active warrants for: two counts of aggravated domestic assault, theft of a motor vehicle, theft, violation of community corrections, and criminal court capias.
The latest warrants for aggravated domestic assault and theft of a motor vehicle came as a result of domestic related altercations with a former girlfriend over the past two days. During the investigation, it was determined that James Williams had pointed a gun at the female victim, physically assaulted and restrained her, and also took the victim’s 2003 pink Chevy Impala, TN tag 0E17K6.
Police said Williams has a lengthy criminal history and will most likely be armed.
He is described as a black male with black hair and brown eyes. He is 5’8″ and weighs 230 pounds.
