CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – Clarksville police are looking for a suspect wanted in connection with a stabbing that occurred Tuesday shortly after midnight in the 100 block of Chapel St.
According to a release from spokesperson Officer Natalie Hall, the victim told police that he and his friend, Tommie McCullum, got into an argument that turned physical. McCullum allegedly pulled out a small pocket knife and stabbed his friend.
McCullum fled the scene on foot before officer arrived. A K-9 unit was unable to locate him.
The victim said McCullum still had the pocket knife in his possession when he fled.
The victim was transported by EMS to Gateway Medical Center and then to Vanderbilt Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.
A description of McCullum was not provided.
