CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – Clarksville police have arrested a man they believe stole building materials from construction sites.
A detective was checking residential construction sites Aug. 9 around 7:40 p.m. at Abby Lou Drive and Whitfield Road when he saw a blue Toyota truck backed into one of the lots.
A man identified as 51-year-old Marty Lynn Mosier was loading large boxes into the bed of a truck from a pallet. When the detective approached in uniform, Mosier jumped into the vehicle and drove away, despite the detective telling him to stop.
Police later received a tip that Mosier was at the gas station at 109 Dean Rd. He was found there Monday morning and taken into custody.
